Challenge
After more than 45 years of daily use, this kitchen had become outdated, inefficient, and no longer reflected how the homeowners wanted to use the space. Storage was limited, and an oversized built-in pantry occupied valuable square footage without providing the functionality expected from a modern kitchen.
The homeowners wanted a kitchen that felt more open, provided better workflow, and offered practical storage solutions while maintaining a timeless design.
Design Solution
Designer Paul Williams completely reimagined the layout to improve functionality and maximize every inch of available space. By removing the outdated built-in pantry and redesigning the floorplan, the kitchen gained improved storage, additional workspace, and a more open, inviting feel.
The renovation featured Townplace Crema cabinetry, MSI Solataj countertops, a marble mosaic backsplash, and MSI Akadia flooring. The carefully selected materials work together to create a bright, elegant space that balances beauty with everyday durability.
What was once an outdated kitchen is now a highly functional gathering space designed around the way the homeowners live today.
